In order for a resident of the District of Columbia to purchase a firearm they must attend a firearm safety class and fire a familiarization course on a pistol range with our Metropolitan Police Department approved instructor.

Upon completion of the class and range our instructor will issue a certificate to the gun owner which must be submitted to the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Control Unit to complete the gun registration process.

Our firm will provide the firearm, ammunition, range, target, ear/eye protection and certificate.

The fee for this class is $80 payable by cash or money order only.
