Our firm was founded in 1975 to provide professional training for security personnel in both the public and private sectors. We have trained more than 20,000 security personnel for positions in Federal buildings as well commercial locations throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
Training sessions are taught by a staff of retired law enforcement officials with a minimum of twenty (20) years of law enforcement experience who have been approved as instructors by the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia and the U. S. General Services Administration in their areas of expertise. Our instructors have lectured at the F. B. I. Academy, the Drug Enforcement Administration Training Academy, the University of Maryland, the Bureau of A.T.F., the Federal Law Enforcement Training School, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
Additionally, ASTC has conducted training of police and security personnel from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and at the Organization of American States. Other clients include nationally known security firms.
